We have been alerted to the fact that local pharmacies are experiencing an increased volume of contacts/calls with patients who are frustrated that their prescription (ordered via Medicines Online/MOLS) isn’t ready when expected.

The message patients receive from MOLS is that ‘your prescription will be ready in 2 days’ which isn’t technically correct – if you order on a Sunday evening (which is a non-working day) please do not expect your prescription to be ready on Wednesday morning as the process does take 2 full working days.

We therefore advise all our patients to allow 4 days (preferably 1 week) for your order to be processed to avoid disappointment and wasted journeys.
